UROMAC has delivered 5 road-rail shunters to Metro de Caracas C.A. that will improve and strength the maintenance activity of the subway of the Venezuelan capital city

After the commissioning and training instructed by UROMAC personnel the vehicles will be used in Lines 1 & 2 for towing platforms with tools and material and as emergency response vehicle in case of derailment as one of the units has been specially designed for rescue and re-railing operations.

With the five newly acquired maintenance vehicles Metro de Caracas can duplicate work fronts that are activated during the night to run various maintenance routines along 60 kilometers of railway.

UROMAC has designed and manufactured the vehicles according to the needs of Metro de Caracas considering the gradient of the lines and the gross tonnage of the vehicles to be towed.
