UROMAC has developed a new innovative hybrid track motor vehicle (dresine) specially designed to work in Metros, Trams and tunnels with zero emissions.
It is a particularly compact rail bound machine, with reduced dimensions to fit into narrow tunnels and an electric transmission with a hybrid system that allows it to be recharged on the go and also via charger connected to the network.
The machine has a variable and configurable electrical autonomy from 3 to 6 hours for its translation, internal systems and additional equipment.
This dresine allows circulation and working inside tunnels with cero emissions using illumination, electric power at different voltages and also protects the persons having a climate-controlled and pressurized cabin that prevents the penetration of gases and dust from the outside.
UROMAC is manufacturing the first units for the Madrid Metro, where they will work on various maintenance tasks through important contracting companies.
