Uromac has supplied a new Lacertis TB road-rail unit that will operate at Metro de Madrid in Spain.

This is a truly multifunction machine equipped with a three-way tipping flat box, service crane and towing capability to move rail platforms along the line even on the steepest sections of the line.

The restrictive conditions of the old tunnels at Metro Madrid have been a very demanding challenge. Therefore Uromac has re-designed the 9 Ton flat box to fit into this very narrow envelope.

This machine is of course equipped with the reversing driving cockpit which brings full visibility in all driving directions increasing safety for the driver and the personnel around the machine.
