COFMOW (Central Organisation For Modernisation of Workshops), a public sector undertaking in India created to modernise the workshops of Indian Railways, has chosen UROMAC to supply 5 new units of T-RAIL SV road-rail shunter vehicle for Indian Railways.

These shunter vehicles will have 600 Ton capacity and shall work at various Indian Railways workshops throughout India.

T-RAIL SV is a road-rail shunter vehicle capable of working on different track gauges from 1435 to 1676 mm. that can be alternatively used on public roads.

This first order for Indian Railways is recognition of Uromac’s development and expansion efforts to become a world key player in road-rail technology.
